Tollbooth Tragedy is in the house

While I am not a member of the Tollbooth Tragedy, they have left an indelible mark on my life, and definitely for the better. Lead lyricist J. K. Barno's tales of heartbreak and woe in middle-class American suburbia tell the stories of 10 million silent teenagers, each with their heart beating in unison like firecrackers in the bible-black pre-dawn. It is this voice of a generation that makes us fans of the Tollbooth Tragedy (or "The 'Booth", as their followers affectionately refer to them as), live, breathe and sleep for these three young individuals and the heavenly noise that they make.

Where will their stories take us? What characters, what moments frozen in time will Barno next sing of with his celestial voice? One thing remains known: whatever it is, it will be 80 times better than anything Connor Oberst ever imagined he could accomplish.

Stay tuned, kiddies. The future will exceed your wildest dreams and fears.
